Refitted 2020 Airstream Globetrotter 25fb
Long story, but this beautiful “pre-Covid” built Airstream has been completely refitted for a couple, and possibly one more.
I designed everything to my personal aesthetic, including the front twin beds that can become a queen! Everything is top quality, as I designed it to keep for myself.
It has only been on one short weekend trip after the remodel, and less than 1,000 miles previously.
It has been stored indoors in a cave storage facility where the temperature is controlled.
I wanted it to feel more like a tiny luxury condo instead of the typical trailer look.
I used washable hi-endurance plush fabric on the couch and swivel rocker. I just love the look of crisp white, and the covers zip off for washing. (Couch & Flexsteel swivel rocker still have plastic wrap from the custom upholstery.)
The beds and couch are 10” Temperpedic XL twin mattresses for extra comfort, and the most unique feature I added is the ability for the twin beds to convert to a queen! (Not featured in stock Airstreams.)
All countertops are Cambria solid surface. The 10” deep undermount kitchen sink is 17” x 19” and features a cutting board and drain rack.
The GE Profile Smart Oven is behind cabinet doors on a slideout tray when needed. It’s an “instant on” oven which heats instantly like a microwave. It also has an air fryer feature.
The 32” Roku TV can be easily moved from the living area to the bedroom.
The two round tables are adjustable height and may be placed anywhere.
I added a lot of storage as well, since I chose to remove the upper kitchen cabinets which were difficult to use. This made everything feel much, much larger without losing any storage (note the addition of the large drawers across the isle from the kitchen). These large drawers are not found in any 25’.
The refrigerator is by Dometic and is “3-way” and can use electricity, gas, or solar.
I have it stocked for you with new linens, pillows, and comforters; Corelle dish set; new cutlery and knives; all necessary kitchen gadgets, and much more!
I’m including everything you need to get going:
Jackery 3000 Solar Generator with two 200W Folding Solar Panels. (Additional solar panels are mounted on the roof with a soft start.)
Equalizer hitch setup
A full set of Airskirts to keep the trailer warm in winter and cool in summer when staying for longer periods.
Snap Pads on the stabilizers
20 “red stabilizer” blocks and a set of 2 leveling ramps
Traction Boards (for soft sand, mud, etc.)
Frigidaire Countertop Ice Maker
Sewer hoses (two 20 ft, one 10 ft and all connectors)
Water hoses (two 50 ft hoses), extension cords.
Hughes Autotransformer Power watchdog
Starlink Dish/Router – Harbor Freight Pole, tripod, and Starlink 8 ft pole with clamps for the tongue jack. You would simply need to set up an account with Starlink and you can have internet wherever you go. (Works best with a clear sky, but the 20 ft. Harbor Freight Pole makes that much easier to do)
Located in Kansas City. Asking $84,900 obo.
In case you’re wondering, my husband passed suddenly before this Airstream was ever delivered to us and 2 days after purchasing the pickup. I decided to design it exclusively for me, but after just one weekend trip and a lot of thought, I decided camping is not for me.
